Nicole Farhi set for multichannel future after rescue from administration

Multichannel retailers Nicole Fahri has been bought out of administration a deal that will see it continue to trade through shops and online in the UK.

Administrator Zolfo Cooper today said it had concluded the sale of NF Fashion and NF Acquisitions to Maxine Hargreaves-Adams, who also owns Fenn Wright Manson and is the daughter of Matalan founder John Hargreaves.

The deal includes six shops and nine concessions as well as online and wholesale businesses.

Peter Saville, partner at Zolfo Cooper, said: “We are extremely pleased to have secured the sale of Nicole Farhi to Maxine Hargreaves-Adams, preserving a well-known retail brand. We wish Maxine and the company’s employees all the best for what we believe will be a successful future for the business.”

Hargreaves-Adams said: “I am delighted to announce that we have been able to acquire Nicole Farhi – an iconic and much-loved British brand.”

As well as owning Nicole Farhi and Fenn Wright Mason, Hargreaves-Adams is also invested in Damsel in a Dress.
