Online designer menswear retailer, Woodhouse, is going mobile, as it sees the channel as one of the important growth areas post-pandemic for growth.
Founded more than 40 years ago, Woodhouse, now an online-only retailer, has gained legions of loyal customers – and correspondingly, an outstanding 4.8 star Feefo rating. With Woodhouse identifying the mobile app as an increasingly important channel and key to its next phase of growth, it took the decision to start a process to replace their current app with a new one. One iota have been commissioned to design, develop and deliver the new app which will replace the current one in November 2021.
Woodhouse was very keen to work with a partner who had a good understanding of the fashion sector and extensive experience designing, developing and delivering mobile apps with data driven personalised customer communications. They selected One iota as their app commerce partner and have tasked them with creating mobile app experiences that mirror and maintain the established level of trust, customer retention and brand loyalty, whilst improving engagement and new customer sales.
With an existing Magento2 ecommerce integration One iota were able to put forward timelines and costs that made it an easy decision for Woodhouse to select them to create the next generation of iOS and Android native mobile apps. The new Woodhouse app will cover the entire consumer journey: from browsing, search, discovery and purchase, to after sales. It will also offer optimal opportunities to utilise dynamic content and enhance the personalisation of the shopping journey for each user – as well as build on the heritage and long term loyalty. The new mobile apps will replace their existing mobile apps for the highly rated consumer brand and will launch in Autumn 2021.

Woodhouse’s next generation native app will be available to download in both the App Store and IOS in Autumn 2021.
