Carrefour has begun offering deliveries on Sundays for the first time in Brussels in what it claims is a first for the area.

As of 14 February, users of the supermarket’s ShipTo mobile application can order products for delivery on Sunday between 10AM and 8PM.

The app has also this week expanded to the whole of the Belgian capital. It now offers deliveries within 90 minutes from Monday to Saturday between 10AM and 8PM.

Carrefour also upgraded the appearance of the app earlier this month, claiming it provides a “more intuitive” interface. Users will now be able to see all store promotions.

ShipTo uses a network of couriers who deliver using an electric cargo bike.
