Parcelhub launches fulfilment solutions for customers

DeliveryX

Parcelhub has added fulfilment to its portfolio, allowing ecommerce customers to completely outsource the shipping of products to customers.
The company’s portfolio will now include services such as picking and packing, warehousing, reworking, storage and ecommerce order fulfilment.

Previously customers could use Parcelhub’s management solutions to manage delivery but would have to arrange delivery with carriers themselves.

By using the fulfilment solution they can access 20 different carriers and the company’s SMART Notifications platform, which maps the paths of customers’ parcels and intervene if action is required.

Mark Rosenberg, MD of Parcelhub said: “Parcelhub customers now have the option to outsource all their supply chain operations with us.

“We understand that business life is busy and our clients need us to get on with the job in hand quickly and efficiently.

“We work hard to make sure we’re as responsive as possible; building relationships through dedicated account managers who provide one point of contact and understand the clients’ businesses and their needs as fully as possible.”

“Because of the way we operate and the processes we have in place we are able to react to these changes swiftly, often with little or no impact on the delivery schedule.

“We know how important it is to have a reliable and efficient distribution partner. After all, without optimal stock levels, customers cannot order and that has a direct impact on our clients’ bottom line.”

Parcelhub was acquired by Whistl in 2018.

At the beginning of January, the company introduced a simplified label system to support same-day delivery.
