Our latest ranking of Europe’s Top500 builds on our previous research to provide a unique performance-based index of Europe’s largest retailers. Through a combination of qualitative and quantitive research across different metrics, we highlight which retailers are achieving the highest standards and what sets them apart from the rest.
The research for this year’s RXEU Top500 highlights both how performance levels across Europe have levelled upwards. It also highlights how European retailers are adjusting their offerings so that, for example, fulfilment options now reflect more fully the costs involved in premium services.
Elsewhere, we also explore the possible impact of Brexit on European retailers. We look anew at the challenge that brands, with their strength in offering services localised to different territories across Europe, continue pose to traditional retailers. Plus just what is the role of the store within cross-channel retail these days?
