Wholesale electrical distributor Rexel has partnered with rapid delivery service provider Gophr to introduce a new 90 minute delivery service.
Rexel Rapid will initially be available to those near one of the 16 branches in London, but plans are in place to expand service nationwide in the future.
Joe Burrows, area manager for Rexel in Central London, said: “We understand that needs change quickly on-site, so we’re proud to offer a service that reflects this and meets the rapidly growing demand. We’re pleased to launch Rexel Rapid and provide customers with an easy to use, reliable delivery service that works as hard as they do.”
As Rexel largely serves tradespeople, the launch of this faster delivery option is designed to meet demand for urgent supplies to be brought to sites, allowing work to continue.
“Travelling off-site for tools and supplies is a costly and unnecessary expense for many tradespeople, sitting in traffic rather than making progress on the job,” added Graham Smith, strategic account director at Gophr.
