SaleCycle has become the first business-to-business (B2B) company to collect customer reviews through Reevoo .

So far the company has notched up a score of 8.2 out of ten, with reviews from clients including Panasonic, Topshop, Harvey Nichols and Europcar. All reviewers to date say they would recommend SaleCycle.

The remarketing company says its move comes as B2B buyers enter a new era. “Client feedback is at the heart of us growing and improving as a business – and being one of the first B2B companies to use Reevoo reviews in this way was incredibly exciting,” said Dominic Edmunds, founder and chief executive of SaleCycle. “It’s liberating to read pure, unedited opinions on what it’s like working with SaleCycle so we can understand both where we’re doing well and where we can do better in the future.”

The reviews are unedited and Reevoo chief executive Jonathan Callcut has welcomed SaleCycle’s willingness to share uncensored feedback.

“We so often associate reviews with the consumer, the individual – but businesses are made of people so why shouldn’t we give them a mouthpiece as well?” he asked. “Social proof is for everyone – and if this helps make a CMO’s decision a little easier, we’ve done our job. We’re seeing B2B and B2C marketing strategies coming together, based on universal needs of trust, transparency and honesty.”

Our view: Reviews have become an important part of shopping online, and it makes sense that the feature would carry over into the B2B world. When transaction sizes are generally larger, there’s arguably more need to hear from other customers how they rate the service.
