Screwfix has launched Screwfix Sprint, a new high-speed delivery service that will aim to deliver products to customers in as little as 30 minutes.
The company will trial the service, aimed at tradespeople and DIYers in urgent need of goods, exclusively in its Bristol stores. It is working with courier business Gophr to deliver the goods.
To order customers visit the Screwfix app or website to select their nearest Bristol store then add the products to their basket along with a specific product code. They then place the order via click and collect and pay as normal. Once the order is placed and confirmed customers will then receive a phone call to confirm the delivery address, which must be within three miles of the chosen participating store.
Screwfix already offers next day delivery and for those in more urgent need a click and collect service within a minute. However, the new service will aim to help those – particularly tradespeople – who might not be able to leave to get the parts they need.
