Search engine optimisation helped MyTuxedo.co.uk boost its revenues by 65% while traffic to the site rose by 81%, the company has said.
MyTuxedo.co.uk launched a multilingual SEO and pay-per-click campaign last year after expanding into Europe. The campaign featured on-site SEO as well as metadata recommendations in English, Dutch and German. As well as boosting visitor numbers to its UK site, traffic to its German site rose by 85% and to its Dutch site by 71%.
The campaign was run by SiteVisibility who also introduced a Student Union discount voucher code scheme, a social calendar as a hook for SEO campaigns, and onsite copy recommendations. The campaign, which ran from February to July 2011, also saw a 102% rise in non-branded SEO traffic and a 49% rise in SEO transactions.
MyTuxedo.co.uk director Tim Grimaldi said the campaign had “delivered great results as well as adding considerable value.”
Jason Woodford, SiteVisibility chief executive, said: “Increasing visits to your website and encouraging those visitors to click through and become your customers has become vitally important if businesses are to survive.”
