The second annual InternetRetailing Summit will take place in Berlin this July.
The event, which runs from July 3 to July 5, brings together senior figures from leading retailers from across the European Economic Area (EEA) plus Switzerland for an immersive three-day event spent focusing on the way that multichannel retailers are innovating to improve the customer experience. It is held in partnership with IREU Top500, and aims to give Europe’s Top500 retailers the opportunity to spend three days learning, sharing and simply talking to with other leaders in the ecommerce and multichannel industry.
The invitation-only event, chaired by InternetRetailing editor-in-chief Ian Jindal, is held under the Chatham House Rule, to allow for the free discussion of new ideas, real retail experiences and visions for the future of online retailing.
In parallel with the IREU 500, the Summit will operate across six key ‘dimensions’: mobile; strategy and innovation; customer experience; operations and logistics; merchandising; brand and engagement. Delegates will take part in off-the-record discussions, curated by experts and moderated by fellow leaders in the field, where they can pool knowledge and learn from each other.
Leadership panels will bring together senior multichannel retailers from businesses including Darty, Bestseller to discuss questions from how the seamless consumer experience is changing in the light of disruptive consumers, to the cost, and value, of developing innovation.
Subjects including the customer-centric customer journey, managing mCommerce risk, and competing globally will be under discussion in a series of performance dimension and round table discussions, led by senior executives at retailers including Argos, Wayfair and medi, where delegates have the chance to share experiences and debate with their peers.
The event follows on from the first IREU Top500 Summit, which held in Berlin last July (pictured).
