Renting a dress can also prove cost effective, for those looking to wear a designer dress for an event such as a wedding or even an upcoming Christmas party that they otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford. Searches for ‘designer dresses to rent’ are up 23% year on year, with 4,400 searches on Google every month.

People are also searching for ‘wedding dress rentals’ 49,500 times a month, searching for the perfect dress to wear for one of the most special days of their lives.

Fenwick recently launched their collaboration with The Front Row, available in their Bond Street and Newcastle stores. Customers can rent pieces from its line-up of couture, ready-to-wear, and occasion pieces. You can find out more about Fenwick’s dresses to rent on the Fenwick site.

Fenwick’s head of Brand, Leo Fenwick comments: “Fenwick launched the rental service with Front Row in June as part of a global shift to a more circular fashion future.” “By choosing to rent through Fenwick, customers are helping to extend and enrich the life of the garments, whilst reducing their impact on the planet. As a result, they are also adding to the story and memories each piece holds.”
