Shoe retailer, Moda in Pelle says targeted marketing has helped it lift sales from its email campaigns by 116%, year-on-year.

The company, which opened its first shop in Leeds in 1975, says it is using its data more efficiently to market to its customer base since it hired a new email marketing platform provider.

The company, which sells from 38 stores and online from www.modainpelle.com, said deliverability and open and click rates both improved after it started to use the Bronto Software system in May 2012, the latter by 5%.

Jessica Lockwood, online marketing manager at Moda in Pelle, said: “Switching our email service provider to Bronto has given us the opportunity to advance our email marketing strategy, segment our customers and target them with relevant campaigns, which has really driven incremental revenue.”

Joe Colopy, chief executive of Bronto Software, said: “We are delighted that Moda in Pelle has seen such a significant increase in revenue since implementation last year. The retailer wanted better visibility of their data, the ability to send targeted email campaigns and to improve efficiency, all of which we have delivered on a very timely scale. We look forward to continuing our work with Moda in Pelle in the future and further developing our working relationship.”
