In today’s InternetRetailing newsletter, we’re looking at the way we shop today – and at the way we could be shopping soon.

We report on MySale’s acquisition of Cocosa as it looks to prepare the ground for its UK launch this summer. We’ve gathered together some of the latest research findings into a story that shows how events such as Bank Holidays affect the way we shop, as well as how often we shop, both online and offline, and what we shop for. We also report on some of the latest investment and innovation from logistics providers who range from Hermes to new company local letterbox.

Then we also have insights into up and coming technologies, as John Lewis names the finalists who will take places in its new JLAB incubator, and we look ahead to a new launch from Barclaycard and Flubit that promises individual product prices in the not too distant future. And in today’s coverage of the Internet Retailing Awards 2014 shortlist, we’re focusing on the IRIS Award to find out who’s leading the way when it comes to digital in-store.

Last year the winners of these multichannel and ecommerce industry awards included Tesco, Burberry, Asos, Lakeland, eBay, Amazon, Oasis/Warehouse and LoveHoney, who celebrated their wins at a rooftop party in the middle of the City. Who will take this year’s titles? Shortlist will be announced in the May issue of the magazine with the winners revealed at an exclusive event at One Mayfair on Thursday June 26.
