Royal Mail is hoping to raise awareness of more than 5,000 new parcel drop-off points, which have been added to its network this year, as part of a new series of vignettes.

As part of the postal company’s strategy to make sending parcels as convenient as possible for people, the campaign shows parcels guided through various hands using both real staff and actors posting and collecting parcels.

Created by AMV BBDO, the “Send It Your Way” campaign shows how Royal Mail harnesses lockers and Collect+ sites, in addition to at-home collection service, Parcel Collect. It also shows how customers can save by buying postage online.

Heidi Kieran, head of consumer marketing at Royal Mail, said: “This beautifully shot campaign raises awareness and highlights the ease and convenience of sending parcels through Royal Mail. Whether you prefer to have your postie collect your parcel from your doorstep or would like to drop it off whilst you’re out and about, Royal Mail offers unrivalled options to suit every lifestyle.

“We are rapidly expanding our number of parcel points to give customers the widest possible choice, with more than 5,000 Collect+ sites and lockers already added this year and even more to follow over the coming months.”

The integrated campaign comprises 30, 15 and six-second ads, which will run on TV, VOD, online, cinema and OOH. It breaks on VOD, radio and online on 07 October, and on TV and in cinemas from 04 November.
