Internet Retailing has teamed up with Adobe Scene 7 to find out what will be driving online commerce and marketing over the next year.
We want to find out which tools retailers will be using to convert customers in Adobe Scene 7’s 2011 rich media survey, Customer Experience in the Next Digital Decade.
There’s a prize of Adobe software worth £2,700 to be won by one lucky respondent.
This is the third year that we have partnered with Adobe for this research. Last year nearly 550 retailers, agencies and media, manufacturers and high-tech companies took part in the survey. Of them, 75% said they were planning to focus on customer experience innovations in 2010. More than a third said they found multimedia – mixing video, zoom imagery or animation – most effective, while personalisation features ranked the highest in terms of conversion.
And while mobile strategies were the least deployed, respondents had plans for growth in this area. It will be interesting to see whether those plans are now at fruition at the start of ecommerce’s second decade.
Max Childs, senior marketing manager for EMEA at Adobe Scene 7, said: “We’re partnering with Internet Retailing for the third year to promote our survey as its readers really understand the role rich media plays in ecommerce.
“We always get a great response with relevant, professional feedback. Internet Retailing is one of the most respected and well read industry publications – with insightful journalism and comment, it attracts the right people whose views we want to reflect.”
The survey is now live and you can take part until the closing date of December 17 by clicking here.
Everyone who takes part can opt to enter a prize draw* to win an Adobe CS5 worth £2,700. CS5 (aka Creative Suite 5) is the complete suite of Adobe’s graphic, video, and web development applications including Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver and Fireworks.
*There is one prize of CS5 for a participant drawn at random after the survey has closed. Terms and conditions apply. For information, contact emails7marketing@adobe.com.
