Wheelbase, which claims to be the UK’s largest cycle store, has appointed ArrowXL to handle the delivery of its bikes. The service includes live tracking and a 30-minute delivery window for the company’s range of bikes from their main site in Kendal.
Wheelbase, which also has three stores in the Lake District, Darlington and Yorkshire, has grown its online operation recently with improvements to IT systems to provide live stock levels, a click and collect service and a live online chat service. ArrowXL’s ‘askAXL’ tracking web app, allows their customers to track their delivery in real-time using the interactive map.
