The acquisition of Norbert Dentressangle by XPO Logistics, as reported in April, has now been completed.
XPO now holds a 67% interest in Norbert Dentressangle, at the agreed price of €217.50 per share.
With more than 52,000 employees in the combined businesses, XPO Logistics is now a top 10 global provider of transportation and logistics services.
As part of the announced completion, XPO has rolled out a number of bright red vehicles, reminiscent of the Norbert Dentressangle livery, bearing the slogan #WEAREXPO – ‘we are XPO’.
Hervé Montjotin, European CEO and president of XPO Logistics and chairman of the management board of Norbert Dentressangle, said in a statement issued by the company: “We are very pleased to confirm the closing of the transaction announced in April. Thanks to the speedy completion of this acquisition, we can begin our integration as part of XPO Logistics without delay and fully commit to an ambitious business development plan, supported by a broader service offering and an expanded capacity for innovation.”
