Upmarket fashion designer Maria Grachvogel is making a move into online retailing for the first time with the announcement of a new long-term digital strategy designed to stimulate greater awareness and extend its reach beyond London and other major fashion capitals.
The brand has appointed Design UK to manage its move online, including a redesigned website, digital marketing strategy and implementation and ecommerce functionality.
“While we dress high profile clients, we also create beautiful clothes for real women — all of whom now look to the internet as an integral part of their shopping experience,” says Catherine Thomas, Maria Grachvogel’s commercial director. “It both inspires them and speeds up the shopping process.”
“We would like to think that even the web doesn’t totally replace the store experience,” she added, “but our re-launch will bring the Maria Grachvogel brand to women globally, without diluting the absolute luxury of our proposition.”
The new site is expected to launch in late April or early May.
