Mobile pizza pioneer, Domino’s has launched a new app to coincide with the Euro football championships as the company seeks to tie its mobile ordering into second screening – using a phone, tablet or laptop while watching TV – around the sporting event.

Domigoals, which can be downloaded free for iOS, Android and through Facebook, allows hungry users to receive real-time scores of games currently being played and access fixture information. Users can also opt in to goal alerts to keep up to date with all the action.

For hungry football fans, there’s also the chance to score some delicious prizes every time there’s a goal. Simply tap the app once a goal has been scored to be in with the chance of winning Domino’s voucher codes. The more goals a player scores, the bigger the prize.

Simon Wallis, sales and marketing director of Domino’s Pizza, explains: “We know how much everyone’s looking forward to the football this summer so we wanted to launch a new app, which means that wherever fans are, they’ll be able to keep up to speed with all the scores. Pizza and football are a match made in heaven so we wanted to inject a bit of fun and competition into the app too with prizes for fans who have the fastest fingers when the goals are scored.”
