Lacoste has opened the doors to its largest UK flagship store on London’s Regent Street.
According to the French fashion retailer, its new store is “designed to embody the beating heart of all Lacoste cultures”, following the opening of its Parisian flagship store, Lacoste Arena, last year.
The new 900 square meter store features over 4,000 pieces on display, as the company aims to connect “cultures through experiences”. As a result, the omnichannel retailer said the hopes to become a meeting place where everyone’s personalities and styles will resonate individually or collectively.
The store features a powerful footwear area, golf, tennis and fitness performance collections, and women’s, men’s and kids’ ready-to-wear.
“We are proud to open this new flagship on Regent Street, located in one of the most vibrant and cosmopolitan cities in the world, in the heart of London. For us, this opening is a strong signal to our international aficionados,” Lacoste deputy CEO Catherine Spindler said.
“As we did with Lacoste Arena in Paris, 182 Regent Street reflects our ambition to reinvent the customer experience, offering our communities unique experiences in exceptional and unifying locations. In the same spirit, we are also planning to open a new space in New York in 2024 and in Asia.”
The flagship also features an exclusive piece of art designed by Japanese artist HAYU in the heart of the store, representing a wire crocodile reminiscent of a tennis court.
The store is located at 182 Regent Street, London W1B 5TH.
