Avon, Nespresso and Specsavers heading for RetailX’s brand new Spring Festival

This May, RetailX is launching a brand new host of events with four retail-focused conferences under one roof, as part of its Spring Festival 2024.

For over two decades RetailX has been a valued market resource for retailers, offering a wealth of data, analysis, comprehensive research, interviews and reports. It has now introduced new dedicated events – ConsumerX, DigitalX, SubscriptionX and SustainabilityX.

Held on 14 May 2024, at ETC Venues, 133 Houndsditch London, the festival aims to be the ultimate gathering of the retail industry’s brightest minds and most influential figures.

Confirmed speakers come from a range of leading retail businesses including Asda, Avon, The Economist, HelloFresh, Kellogs, Look Fabulous Forever, Nespresso, Specsavers and Tate & Lyle.

The packed day will be split into four events, each featuring detailed keynotes, roundtables and panel discussions.

Harnessing RetailX research, the new for 2024 event – sponsored by Imagino – will delve into next-generation priorities, attitudes, and personas, to understand the consumer’ mindset.

Furthermore, after years of integrating consumer data, surveys, and research, the ConsumerX App will be unveiled for the first time at the event. The app provides unique information, key data, and comprehensive graphs on everything from consumer attitudes to differences across age groups or countries, all centred on the multi-channel European customer.

This new conference, sponsored by Upp, will examine the digital marketing evolution. Delegates will learn how to navigate the landscape of AI-powered technology, improve overall marketing performance and maximise digital channels to better reach your customer.

Following on from the success of the 2023 launch event, SubscriptionX returns to explore the latest and greatest in digitally-driven DTC subscription models. It will bring together experts within the B2C sector of multichannel retailers, brands, and media, to foster a cross- pollination of ideas. And discusses opportunities and challenges from scaling to adapting to changing customer preferences and everything between.

With 81% of UK households signed up to at least one subscription service, and with digital media entertainment being the most prominent, the opportunities within this domain are huge. The second edition of SubscriptionX, sponsored by Gousto Bento, Avalara, Chargebee and Ordergroove, enables visitors to discover how leading brands are adapting to the economic climate and the innovative strategies they are employing to deliver scalable, sustainable subscription growth.

With less than seven years remaining to achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, SustainabilityX delves into the challenges, future possibilities, and realities that will significantly impact the future of retail and allow brands to maintain trust in an industry in which consumers are wary of greenwashing.
