Fast food giant Burger King has launched an iPhone app, allowing hungry customers to hunt down their nearest restaurant with ease – something until now, they used their noses for. Not only will Whopper fans be able to find restaurants using geo-location, but they can also share this information with friends via Facebook or via email.
The app allows users to browse the whole product range to help make that all-important decision, while being guided to their nearest emporium. The ‘My Meal’ feature means that customers can create their own personal meals, tailoring their choice according to the nutritional information provided.
The free apps, created by digital agency Pancentric Digital, will also feature exclusive offers and vouchers for users, which can also be shared with friends, ensuring no one misses out on the action.
Sarah Power, Marketing Director, UK and Ireland for BK says: “This new app is fantastic for customers on the move who want to find the best quality burgers on the high-street. The social media elements of the application mean that BK fans and their friends can all enjoy the benefits of exclusive vouchers and offers. We hope to expand our journey into the world of iPhone applications in the future, continuing to provide great value for our customers.”
