British premium sportswear brand, Castore has opened its first flagship store on London’s King’s Road, home to some of the world’s most prestigious brands.
The store carries Castore’s full range of gym, running, tennis, golf and technical lifestyle collections and act as a sports hub for customers to immerse themselves into the world of Castore.
The 1,200-square-foot Chelsea space is set across two floors and will be open for six months.
On the ground floor, customers can shop the brand’s range of sports apparel. On the lower ground, visitors are invited to enjoy the Castore lounge, boasting a golf simulator for customers to test out the recently launched golf kit.
Castore in January became the official kit sponsor of British tennis star Andy Murray. The Liverpool-based company was founded in 2015 by brothers Tom and Phil Beahon. Its sportswear sells online in over 40 countries, as well as through leading retail partners Mr Porter, Harrods, Selfridges and Matches Fashion.
The brand aims to bring a new level of performance to sportswear. Its mission is to deliver the lightest, most durable, highest performing sportswear in the market and works with the world’s leading partners to push the boundaries of sportswear innovation and performance enhancement.
Co-founder Phil Beahon explains: “The expansion and the store opening is a major milestone for Castore. The ethos of the store is extremely minimalist and very much designed to accentuate focus on the product themselves which are the heart of the Castore brand.”
Sir Andy Murray, who is an adviser to the company, added: “I am delighted to see Castore open its first store in such an iconic location as the King’s Road. Since I became involved in Castore, the team have been very focused on finding the perfect store and we are very excited to have finally found it.”
The new shop features exclusive products, such as the newly launched womenswear collection.
