Cath Kidston has launched a new ecommerce website in its 20th anniversary year.
The new site was developed by BT Expedite, with features including online ratings, reviews, wishlists, e-vouchers and a range of delivery options including click and collect. It is integrated into the retailer’s call centre in order to enable shoppers to manage their orders over the phone.
It also puts the retailer in position to expand into Europe, thanks to multinational features including localised payments and languages, and the French version will go live later this year.
A mobile optimised site will go live in the autumn.
Amy Bastow, ecommerce director, Cath Kidston, said: “We’re looking forward to the continued growth of our online business on the new platform.”
David Grossman, chief executive of BT Expedite, said: “We’re now delighted to be involved in next stage of development which will utilise the international features of our platform. It’s exciting to be able to work with such a successful and rapidly expanding company.”
