With just a month to go until ChannelX World – where marketplace experts will come together to shape the future of marketplace retail – the conference programme is shaping up. Some 28 speakers will deliver over 11 hours of unforgettable insight and laser focused content, including Julie Briggs head of carriers for Boohoo Group.
Briggs has years of ecommerce logistics and distribution experience with over 20 years in operational, client facing and notable retail roles. She previously managed delivery and returns services in companies such as Home delivery Network, Yodel, Collect+ and ASOS, before joining BooHoo.
At ChannelX World, held in London on the 13th of October, Briggs will cover how businesses balance their needs with consumer expectations. And will provide insights into the challenges retailers face.
She joins a host of speakers from some of the UK and Europe’s top retailers including LK Bennett, Emma Bridgewater, Eve Sleep and Debenhams.
Marketplace industry giants Amazon, eBay and TikTok will provide the morning keynote, covering how both consumer buying habits and retail have changed. With the closing keynote coming from Tom Flintoff, head of marketplaces, international ecommerce at M&S.
Mirakl, GFS, Fruugo, Wish, Luzern, and export partner the Department for International Trade will also be at the event.
Furthermore, RetailX’s latest research the European Marketplaces 2022 report will be presented, it is available to pre-register for now. The detailed report looks at the Top 15 marketplaces by traffic from Europe to assess their performance for RetailX’s Elite, Leading and Top 500 brands across three key dimensions:
- How each marketplace is used by brands
- How easy each is to be used by brands and third parties
- How easy these marketplaces are to use by consumers.
Alongside the conference there will be an exhibition, workshops, one-to-one meetings and networking drinks making this the biggest marketplace and channel event in the UK.
