This is a follow-up to our Black Friday Homepages of the Top23 review, and updates on their CyberMonday homepages.
Amazon
Well, Amazon [IRDX RAMZ] has updated their carousels and CTAs for a #cybermonday crowd…
Argos
Argos [IRDX RARG] continues the Black Friday theme – “it isn’t over yet”. Although sounding more like a threat than a promise, the swirling graphics are such a joy that we understand why they’d want to keep them. The focus on delivery and opening hours is maintained.
Asda
Well, they declared that they were so over BlackFriday and true to their word there’s no sign of it or of CyberMonday on the Asda [IRDX RASD] website…
Spot the difference? Friday and Monday’s pages are the same. That’s cost-saving!
Boots
Boots [IRDX RBOO] keeps the same creative in play just changing the words to ‘CyberMonday’:
Clarks
Following Asda’s parsimonious lead, Clarks [IRDX RCLA] has the same page as they had on Friday.

Debenhams
Never mind the homepage – Debenhams [IRDX RDEB] ‘goes large’ with a mega-overlay upon page load that takes over the whole page.
Halfords
Halfords [IRDX RHAL] stretch our understanding of the word “Friday” as it turns into “Black Friday Weekend Deals”. A simple update to the creative has ‘ends today’.
Homebase
Homebase [IRDX RHMB] has a ‘Black Friday Event’. The “creative” is changed to an ‘ends today’.
House of Fraser
House of Fraser leads with the discount (50%), that has been ‘extended today’. Not quite sure what the “Today’s Online Exclusives” counter is for – it’s been stuck at zero for a while…
John Lewis
John Lewis [IRDX RJLW] is so over Black and Cyber Days… roll on Christmas and let’s just ignore everything else…
M&S
The content and creative team at M&S [IRDX RMAS] have been busy with their graphics and this gold-leaf-on-black treatment is striking. They’re so happy with it that they’ve not updated it at all…
Maplin
Maplin’s [IRDX RMAP] page notes it’s CyberMonday and immediately suggests a radiator booster.
Mothercare
From austere black and white to a vibrant yellow for Mothercare [IRDX RMOC]. Mothercare’s countdown timer stands out.
New Look
Austere and stylish, but now grey rather than black, New Look’s [IRDX RNEW] CyberMonday blends banner with full-width image to create an impact.
River Island
Having been unavailable on Friday it’s good to see River Island’s [IRDX RIVR] home page this morning. No cyber-anything, just Christmas and 20% for bothering to load their page…
Schuh
A striking and well-considered homepage from the team at Schuh [IRDX RSCH] that was commendably sprightly all weekend in our top-performers stakes. Why mess with a winner? A simply red flash to extend Friday to Monday and we’re done!

Screwfix
No change at all over at Screwfix [IRDX RSCR].

Selfridges
What Black Friday?
Playing it cool, Selfridges [IRDX RSEL] maintains its aloof stance with no change to their homepage today.

Superdry
Superdry’s [IRDX RSUP] page maintains the 20% offer but swaps winter coat for a t-shirt…

Tesco
Tesco [IRDX RTSC] Direct leads with a countdown clock, which has not moved at all since Friday… So much for urgency! The only difference I can see today is that on page-load the “Helping you save” tab is selected – perhaps now that we’re all newly-impecunious after the weekend?

Topshop
Topshop [IRDX RTOP] too has a 5-day event. No change in the home page today.

Toys R Us
Toys R Us [IRDX RTOY] belatedly recognises Black Friday.
Waitrose
Waitrose’s [IRDX RWAI] page is the same as Friday.
