Timetabling the transition to future wired high streets

Linked InTwitterFacebookeCard
One of the most interesting aspects of the Grimsey Review, out this week, is not so much its call for wired high streets, interesting though that is. Rather it's the call for a timetable for that change, and the many other that the report recommends. For, as Grimsey rightly recognises, there's no doubt that change will happen. What's needed is to set out when that will happen. To volunteer for the change, rather than to simply let it happen. And by volunteering, we help to set the agenda rather than simply expecting the inevitable.

In today's Internet Retailing newsletter we report on the Grimsey Report, while also bringing news from retailers including House of Fraser, Home Retail Group, DFS and Dixons and the latest overview of our upcoming Internet Retailing Conference 2013. Today's guest comment comes from Alistair Dent of Periscopix, with a user-friendly guide to Google dynamic display ads.
