EuroCIS 2010 trade fair for IT and Security in Retail: opens 2nd to 4th of March

EuroCIS 2010 is Europe’s leading trade fair & conference for IT and security in trade and retail. This year it will take place in Düsseldorf for three days: 2nd to 4th of March, simultaneously with CeBIT in Hanover.

In addition to the exhibition the Messe Düsseldorf and the EHI Retail Institute have organized a complementary programme, a part of which is formed by the EuroCIS Exhibitor Forum. In topical examples, projects and trends concerning IT and security are being presented.

On the first day of the fair, Christian von Grone, CIO of Gerry Weber International AG, will report on his implementation experience with a new RFID project, in which Torex is an important partner with its Torex FMCG POS solution.

On the second day (3.3.2010), Charlotte Kula-Przezwanski, Enterprise Product Manager at Torex, will talk about “Mexx Europe: Delivering customer focussed assortments to stores in multiple markets”, presenting Torex’ Torex Merchandise Planning & Allocation soution in use at Mexx Europe.

A second part of the complementary programme is “Digital Communication@Retail“. Here solutions with mobile access, instore TV, POS design and customer interaction in general can be found.
