Parcel delivery company Evri has teamed up with flexible benefits platform Onsi to enhance its offering to couriers.

All 25,000+ self-employed couriers, both new and existing, can access these benefits from the beginning of their time with Evri. This is additional to their existing benefits scheme and is free of charge.

Evri couriers will have two main new benefits, provided by Onsi. Under its ‘Wellbeing’ offering couriers can access a Digital GP, Digital Physio and support for mental health, finances, and family.

Then Discounts provide couriers with deals to save on everyday expenses, including nine major supermarkets and fuel discounts. Evri reported the most popular deals have been fuel and supermarkets including Tesco, Shell, Aldi, Asda and Sainsbury’s. With most people experiencing an increase in the cost of living, these discounts can help take the pressure off some regular outgoings.

Evri’s network of couriers already receive a landmark GMB-backed pay model provides drivers with guaranteed minimum wages, holiday pay and pensions.

Gary Robinson, director of final mile at Evri, said: “Our couriers are at the heart of our business, and we recognise the importance additional benefits from platforms like Onsi can make to their work and home life. As our business continues to grow, it’s an exciting time to join us and become a courier, working flexibly around other commitments.”

Investing in their couriers follows wider investment by Evri, which also includes in sustainable delivery fleet and AI technology.
