Zapper’s quick mobile payment and loyalty app is now available in 20 Gillett’s Spar sites around Plymouth, Exeter and Torquay.
And shoppers seem to love the convenience of paying on their mobile and the ease of redeeming exclusive offers available on the app. In December, shoppers redeemed more than 27% of digital vouchers to claim their introductory offer on own brand mince pies.
Users simply open the app, scan the QR code on the digital display at the till to pay quickly and securely using their mobile. With just one tap, users also instantly top up their digital store loyalty card and redeem any available vouchers – Zapper is the rewarding way to pay.
Phil Darch, Operations Director Gillett’s explains: We are delighted to be the first convenience retailer in the South West to offer customers payment through Zapper. We have been looking for some time how we can reward our customers with a loyalty program that is easy to administer offers real value to consumers and is integrated into a simple payment process. We believe that Zapper fits the bill and early indications have been very positive”.
Calum Fairnie, store manager, Gilletts Spar, Mote Park, adds, “The app is great and definitely encourages my shoppers to come in more often to earn their loyalty rewards.”
