InternetRetailing and SimilarWeb, a company that measures the digital world, have worked together over the last 12 months to measure retail web engagement and so gain new and valuable insights into British ecommerce. By doing so, we’ve highlighted challenges, opportunities, and overall trends.
Next was a frontrunner in our study. The fashion retailer’s website is highly engaging and customers look at many more pages on each visit, at a monthly average of nearly 50, than other websites. The bounce rate is extremely low at 17%. April and May 2015 were particularly engaging months with an average of over 60 page views for Next.
