H&M to open online in the UK

H&M Hennes & Mauritz has revealed that it plans to being internet retailing in the UK for the first time in the autumn of 2010.

The plan was revealed in its nine month trading report. Overall sales are up 18%, says H&M, although the increase was only 5% in local currencies. Gross profits increased 14% in the third quarter of the year but sales in August decreased by 3% in local currencies.
