Astley Clarke is a British luxury jewellery brand creating design-led, refined pieces to be worn every day. The jewellery is available in leading stores such as Selfridges, Liberty and its flagship store in Seven Dials London. The award-winning website invented the demi-fine category when it launched back in 2007.
To allow it to scale and add flexibility, the retail brand joined forces with Brightpearl to replace its custom back office system, adding speed, flexibility and POS functionality into its operation. The upgrade took 150 days and has given the business all the functionality it had been missing – replacing manual tasks including the ability to automatically fulfil orders, wholesale billing and integrated finance reporting.
The move has seen Astley Clarke gain an easy-to-use, tailored retail operating system with the ability to support rapid B2C growth, alongside game-changing functionality that includes a huge library of integrations to cutting-edge tools and apps, plus advanced forecasting and automation.
“As a business we replatformed our front end to Adobe Cloud whilst at the same time moving from a legacy ERP to Brightpearl. This was a significant project touching nearly every part of our business and the team at Brightpearl ensured we launched on time and the internal stakeholders were delighted with the result,” explains Scott Thomson, CEO of Astley Clarke.
“We’re delighted Astley Clarke has selected Brightpearl as the cutting-edge operations system to turbocharge its success,” adds Justin Press, SVP Customer Success at Brightpearl. “The business will now be able to streamline, simplify and automate its operations, freeing up key members of the team to focus on more important things, like increasing market share and boosting customer experience.”
