The countdown to the fourth annual Internet Retailing eXpo is underway.
The event is anticipated to welcome about 5,000 visitors from across the online and multichannel industries as they descend on Birmingham’s NEC on March 26 and 27.
There they will be able to see the latest technologies in action across the exhibition featuring some 200 exhibitors, and hear from industry professionals and experts in six conferences covering internet retailing in-store, customer experience and journey, international retailing, operations and logistics, digital sales and marketing and mobile and mobility. Conference speakers hail from across the industry, including House of Fraser, Argos, Tui Travel, Majestic Wine, Aurora Fashions, Homebase, Land Securities, FatFace, Fortnum & Mason, the Oxford Institute of Retail Management, and many more, representing sectors from fashion to logistics, travel to grocery, beauty to homewares and luxury brands.
Conference director Mark Pigou said: “The show offers a specific proposition to retailers as a ‘full circle’ window and promises to attract the often elusive retailer in high numbers through a combination of relevant content, sourcing and fact-finding intelligence.”
Twelve highly practical workshops will be held by a range of suppliers including SLI Systems, Shutl, Kount and Amplience, who will help retailers to get the best out of their ecommerce systems.
The Internet Retailing team will be launching the IR500 programme at IRX, naming the top 500 retailers in the UK and Europe.
