With more and more traffic coming from mobile – and more importantly, with more and more customers wanting to interact with retailers through mobile – etailers must understand what customers want and react quickly, Lysa Hardy, CMO at NBTY Europe tells us ahead of her mobile keynote at IRX15 on 25 March at the NEC.

“Mobile is critically important to retailers as traffic is shifting to it rapidly now and this has key implications for e-commerce,” she warns. “Retailers have to optimise ASAP to give the most efficient experience possible across all channels,” she advises.

Hardy also suggests that getting found in this new mobile-centric etail landscape is going to be key and will be presenting some key case studies at the show to showcase how that can be achieved.

“The success of retail hinges upon their ability to connect with customers over multiple devices and touch points in a clear and consistent way,” she says. “So you need to look at what technological and organizational challenges need to be overcome to achieve this and where is the industry going.”

You also need to understand where mobile investment is delivering the greatest ROI.

All this will be covered in Hardy’s keynote Turning Mobile into Money – key challenges and best practices at 10:35 on 25 March at the NEC. Sign up FREE here
