ITV’s, controller of advanced advertising, Jayesh Rajdev and Lavazza’s Nur Eral, ecommerce business development, are the latest speakers to be announced for RetailX’s brand new event focusing on retail media networks.
This June, MediaX will explore the experiences of well-established retailers in this space, as well as new entrants and the agencies who are helping make retail media networks tick. It will uncover any entry barriers and discuss what advertisers, particularly in the FMCG sector, should consider when making investments.
Dean Harris, head of loyalty rewards & retail media at Co-op; Elton Ollerhead, director – media group at Asos; and Alex Prouhet, global director – commercial at Deliveroo were previously announced as the first speakers.
Superdrug, Marriott International and Pernod Ricard are also set to take to the stage at The Cavendish Conference Centre, London on 11 June 2024.
The brand new one-day event comes as retail media spending amounted to £2.7bn, and is projected to reach £25bn by 2026. Considering that this channel is still finding its footing in Europe, it’s no surprise that 82% of advertisers intend to increase their spend this year.
Last week, Co-op became the first convenience retailer to launch a retail media network. It follows the likes of Asda and Tesco, as well as Deliveroo and Asos – who will both be sending speakers to MediaX.
MediaX is the latest event to be introduce by RetailX. It follows the news that Asda, Avon, The Economist, HelloFresh, Kellogs, Look Fabulous Forever, Nespresso, Specsavers and Tate & Lyle are just some of the retailers speaking during RetailX’s Spring Festival.
The full agenda for the latest RetailX event MediaX is coming soon, but the key themes can be seen here.
