Buy-now-pay-later tool Klarna has built a plugin for ChatGPT, enabling the AI-powered bot to provide customers with personalised product recommendations upon request.
Users can install the Klarna plugin via ChatGPT’s store and ask questions related to shopping, which the technology will curate product recommendations, along with links to to shop.
By clicking on the links, users can directly to the product page on Klarna’s search and compare tool to find the best prices across different board.

The tool also allows shoppers to filter by colour, size and customer ratings.
“I’m super excited about our plugin with ChatGPT because it passes my ‘north star’ criteria that I call my ‘mom test’, i.e. would my mom understand and benefit from this,” Klarna co-founder and CEO Sebastian Siemiatkowski said.
