Marks & Spencer is launching an international delivery service to 70 countries around the world.

An initial international delivery trial in seven countries, including Germany, Australia and the US, has smashed expectations, M&S Direct boss Dave Hughes has told The Sun.

Initially, all payments will be in sterling and only a limited range of stock will be available. From the Autumn, though, thousands of products will be available to order from the web.

Tourists and expats visiting M&S stores in the UK will also be able to choose to have their purchases delivered to their home address, with delivery charges varying from £12.50 to £25.
