From Tuesday 10 June 2025, M&S customers in parts of the UK will once again be able to shop online for home delivery and Click & Collect, following the cyber attack in late April.
“We are brining back online shopping this week” the retailer declared. A selection of fashion products will once again be available for home delivery across England, Scotland and Wales, however deliveries to Northern Ireland will not be introduced just yet.
The retailer thanked customers for their continued support and for shopping instore during the disruption. M&S had previously warned that disruption to its ecommerce offering could continue into July.
“It has been challenging, but it is a moment in time, and we are now focused on recovery, with the aim of exiting this period a much stronger business,” said Stuart Machin, chief executive of M&S.
“There is no change to our strategy and our longer-term plans to reshape M&S for growth and, if anything, the incident allows us to accelerate the pace of change as we draw a line and move on.
“Over the last 140 years, M&S has overcome many challenges – testament to the longevity of this brand. This incident is a bump in the road, and we will come out of this in better shape, and continue our plan to reshape M&S for customers, colleagues and shareholders.”
Last week, Co-op stated it was nearing a “full and complete recovery” following its recent cyber attack. The convenience retailer’s CEO thanked colleagues, suppliers and members for their support during the “highly sophisticated attack”.
Adidas, Victoria’s Secret, Harrods, The North Face and Cartier have also been targeted in similar attacks.
