N Brown Group invests in acquisitions

Home shopping company N Brown Group has bought the Slimma and Splendour brands, to add to a portfolio that currently includes Figleaves, JD Williams and Julipa.

N Brown has paid £800,000 cash for the brands. Slimma skirts and trousers are currently sold through the JD Williams and Julipa sites, while Splendour lingerie is sold through the Figleaves website and also through Simply Be and Fashion World.

The transaction, said N Brown Group, was conditional upon seller Slimma PLC, an AIM-listed company, changing its registered name to CDU.
