In today’s InternetRetailing newsletter, we’ve news of the latest keynote speaker at the InternetRetailing Conference 2016. Tony Rivenell, chief digital officer at Halfords, joins a line-up that also includes James McClure of Airbnb and Ian Jindal of InternetRetailing.

Today we also report as Ocado says it’s confident it can continue to grow ahead of the online grocery market, and as Royal Mail shares survey findings that suggest a third of UK online shoppers now abandon their shopping baskets frequently.

Today’s guest comment comes from Volker Hildebrand of SAP Hybris, who considers the need to think beyond CRM, while we’ve an extra analysis piece from Nick Fletcher of Rakuten Marketing, who finds food for thought in the latest back to school season. Finally, a study from Omnico finds that 96% of shoppers think retailers don’t know what they want.
