Plus size retailer Yours Clothing this week said an omnichannel strategy helped it to grow sales both online and offline over its latest financial year.
Sales grew to £88.3m in the year to , 22% up on the previous year. Online sales grew by 26% over the period to account for 41% of total sales, while store sales rose by 20%.
International sales came in 48% ahead, representing 7% of total sales. Pre-tax losses came in at £1.9m , reflecting in the business, said the business, £1.2m in exceptional costs related to stock management system changes.
Online growth, said Yours, a Top100 retailer in IRUK Top500 research, came thanks to continued improvements to the group platform and website as well as from the increasing popularity of its click and collect and in-store ordering options. Local websites were launched in eight new markets during the year, including the US, Germany and France.
Its BadRhino menswear brand grew during a year in which it launched with Tesco and sold online via Zalando.
Yours Clothing increased employee numbers by 109 to 1,104 by year end. Jonathan Wall, who is also chief digital officer at Missguided, joined as a non-executive director from April 1. Looking ahead, it is looking to buy a new warehouse in Peterborough in the coming year.

Yours Clothing sells online, via stores – with 135 in the UK and Ireland, and 10 franchise stores in the Middle East – and wholesale.
