At Debenhams, admittedly, online growth is slowing and total sales are down, but the company says its new approach to promotions means that those sales are more profitable than they have been.
Meanwhile, we also report how online sales grew by 15% in May, according to ONS figures. And we have news of expansion for the train station-based Doddle parcel collection concept as Network Rail starts on the path towards nationwide rollout, while the Iceland frozen food chain is also looking towards a national online delivery service by the end of this year.
Today we also report on expanding store sales for the Simply Be and Jacamo shops that started out as home delivery businesses.
