The UK retail sector is vibrant and made up not just of the large retailers RetailX analyses for the Top500, but challenger retailers too. These range from companies with strong regional bases to specialist companies, and from luxury fashion brands to innovative pure-plays.
For the 2019 RetailX UK Growth 2000 (G2K) report, we analyse these retailers, analysing 2,000 businesses to assess their performance across four areas of RetailCraft: Search & Checkout, Mobile, Delivery and Social. While these are retailers that lack the resources of larger organisations, many of these companies overcome this by being more innovative, imaginative and nimble than their competitors.
