RetailX Events expands portfolio to 17 for 2025

Last year was “a bit of a tornado” for Shane Ahari-White, vice president of events at InternetRetailing and creator of RetailX Events. In 2024, the division launched eight distinctive events addressing some of the most prescient topics in retail. Not one to shy away from a challenge, in 2025 Ahari-White will manage a portfolio of 17 events to meet the expanding needs of our rapidly evolving sector. That means more topics, lots of learning opportunities, and some pretty inspiring speakers.

Ruthlessly optimising, constantly innovating, and always with two eyes on the future, the multichannel retail sector is a complex beast. Take your eye off it for a moment and you’ve missed something.

RetailX Intelligence has provided retailers with rich data, research, analysis, and comprehensive reports spanning sectors, countries, marketplaces, sustainability, and rankings for more than twenty years. With a repository spanning the UK Top 500 multichannel retailers, Europe Top 1000, and the Global Elite Top 1000, the natural next step was to put our energy into creating opportunities for the industry to come together, share ideas and experience, and forge productive relationships to carry us confidently into a new era.

Last year we launched new events focused on opportunities in retail media, new digital marketing practices, developments in the subscriptions market, sustainable retail, and customer experience. The feedback these events received has reinforced our commitment to building a portfolio of future focused, niche events that offer both guidance and inspiration to the industry, discipline by discipline.

In 2025 we are doubling down, growing our Spring and Autumn Retail Festivals in May and October, with the addition of new events that include an Amazon Sellers Summit, DTC Brands Summit, AI & Data Analytics Summit, Social Media Masters, three new awards ceremonies focused on celebrating pioneers of retail advertising and recognising retail excellence, and our summer FMCG Instore & Ecommerce event in June. 

To celebrate this heroic effort, over the next few weeks, we’ll be publishing a series of interviews and articles by industry leaders whom you will also have the opportunity to hear speaking at our events throughout the year. They’ll be sharing their opinions, reactions, predictions and giving you a flavour of what to expect at this year’s events.
