Dealing effectively with returns is more important than ever as customers demand quicker turnaround, better visibility and greater flexibility in getting unwanted products back to retailers.
What’s more they generally also want it for free. No big ask then! An effective returns policy needs to conform to all the above ideally then whilst also supporting sales. But how so? The subject will be explored in greater detail in the operational excellence conference at eDelivery Expo 2018 (EDX) which takes place in Birmingham this March.
A panel discussion featuring the likes of Ocado, Lovehoney, Enclothed and Narvar will examine which how to ensure your returns policy supports sales by examining questions such as which returns policies are the most effective for retailers today and when is charging acceptable. The panel discussion takes place from 2.15pm on 22 March.
Returns will also be a major focus of the closing keynote address, delivered by Dave Crellin, head of online operations at Sainsbury’s, who will predict how he believes returns strategies will change over the next two years in his session at 3.15pm on 22 March. at the event held, once again at Birmingham’s NEC.
