Make up company RImmel has rolled out a new app that lets users try make up looks in 3D on their smartphone to see if they “get the look”.
The innovative new Get the Look App mobile app is the first-ever real-time 3D make-up simulation application that enables consumers to try out other people’s make-up styles.
Designed by agency Holition has customised its highly advanced FACE technology to make it possible to point a phone or tablet at a friend’s made-up face then virtually try on the same look using colour-matched cosmetics by Rimmel.
In a world first for virtual make-up simulation, the app incorporates a newly-developed ‘Steal The Look’ feature, using Holition’s patented technology to precisely define and identify the make-up style of a friend, favourite celebrity or ad campaign.
