Sales up 47% at Asos, new delivery options to be added

Asos has reported another significant increase in sales, up 47% in the six months to 30 September. International sales increased 110% in the period, helped by the fashion etailer adding a further 56 countries to the destinations it delivers to.

And two new delivery options are to be added in the next few weeks, Nick Robertson, Asos’ chief executive, has told Reuters. The first is a ‘Supersaver’ option that will be cheaper than standard delivery but will take longer to arrive. The second will be ‘Asos Premium’ where regular customers will be able to pay an annual fee in return for free deliveries.
