The Edit LDN CEO Moses Rashid rules out permanent store plans

The CEO and founder of The Edit LDN, Moses Rashid, has revealed opening a permanent store for the streetwear marketplace is “not apart of its roadmap”.

Following the announcement of its newest concession in Amsterdam and being “in talks” with a premium department store in Dublin, Rashid told InternetRetailing: “Having our mono-brand store is not something we are currently focusing on”.

“We are very much a global marketplace and that’s how we’ll grow and drive real growth and scale digitally,” he said.

According to Rashid, the London-based footwear and streetwear reseller’s roadmap ensures it has five concession stores.

Currently, the company which was founded by Rashid in 2020, already has three existing concessions, with locations including London’s Harrods, Galeries Lafayette in Doha, Qatar, alongside Harvey Nichols in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

However, Rashid added that further conversations are happening for stores in New York, LA and Chicago, where it already offers exclusive deals for Chicago Bulls basketball team’s season ticket holders.
