Traditionally a bricks and mortar only business, The Original Factory Shop has launched its first transactional website, serving bargain hunters across the UK. The site complements its 166 stores which operate in the heart of local communities nationwide.
Through the site, customers are now able to buy over 350 products from The Original Factory Shop’s beauty range – across ladies and men’s fragrance and skincare – with huge savings on big brands. Customers will benefit from discounts of up to 70% and prices starting from just £15.
The launch of the new website comes just in time for the festive shopping season, where shoppers can pick up gifts from big brands for less. In addition to existing brands sold in retailers stores – including Hugo Boss, Marc Jacobs and Elizabeth Arden – the retailer has introduced new brands for its offering on tofs.com. Visitors can now also grab great savings on brands including YSL, Creed, Hermes and Gucci from their desktop, tablet and phone.
In addition to the online shopping service, The Original Factory Shop launched a new Reserve & Collect service which is available at its 166 stores nationwide. The new service allows its loyal local customers to browse products online across categories including heating, homeware, electrical, cleaning, beauty and toys – free of charge and then collect and pay for these items at their local store.
Oliver Peck, Brand and Customer Director of The Original Factory Shop, says: “Our shops have sat in the heart of local communities for over 50 years and we’re now excited to offer customers the big brand savings from the comfort of their own home. With the launch of our fully transactional website, we can now reach bargain hunters all over the country to bring them the best deals on a range of our products. We are continuing to develop the offering and aim to bring lots of products to customers soon.”
“In addition to shopping for selected products online, our new site also offers a seamless experience to customers who can now also view a range of products across all categories at each bricks and mortar store.”
The Original Factory Shop plans to launch further categories on its transactional website in the coming weeks, where customers will be able to purchase more items without having to leave their homes.
